Our chairman and a member of our board of directors. Mr. Livanos founded our subsidiary GasLog LNG Services in 2001 and has been a director of GasLog Partners LP since the closing of its initial public offering in May 2014. He has served as our chairman since the Company was incorporated in July 2003 and held the role of Chief Executive Officer from January 2012 until January 2013.
Mr. Livanos is the chairman and sole shareholder of Ceres Shipping, an international shipping group. He also serves as chairman of several of Ceres Shipping’s subsidiaries, including DryLog Ltd., a company engaged in dry bulk shipping investments.
In 1989 Mr. Livanos formed Seachem Tankers Ltd., which in 2000 combined with Odfjell ASA (later renamed Odfjell SE). He served on the board of directors of Odfjell SE until 2008.
Mr. Livanos is a graduate of Columbia University.

Julian R. Metherell was appointed Vice Chairman of our board of directors in November 2020 and has been a member of our board since October 2011. Mr. Metherell has been Chairman of the Safety & Sustainability Committee since November 2019. Mr. Metherell was appointed to our Audit & Risk Committee from May to November 2020. Mr. Metherell was appointed to the GasLog Partners LP board of directors and Audit Committee in August 2020.
Mr. Metherell was the chief financial officer and a director of Genel Energy plc, a leading independent oil and gas exploration and production company operating in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Genel Energy plc is the successor to Vallares Plc, a publicly listed acquisition company which Mr. Metherell co-founded in April 2011.
From 1999 to 2011, Mr. Metherell was a partner at The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., where he served as chief executive officer of the UK investment banking division. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Metherell was a director in the European energy group at Dresdner Kleinwort, a London-based investment bank. Mr. Metherell is a graduate of Manchester University, where he received a B.Sc. degree, and of Cambridge University, where he received an M.B.A.

Anthony S. Papadimitriou (Independent) has been a member of our board of directors since November 2011, when he was designated by the Onassis Foundation to serve as one of our directors.
Mr. Papadimitriou is the managing partner of the law firm A.S. Papadimitriou and Partners, a position he has held since 1990.
From 1986 until 2005, Mr. Papadimitriou served as legal counsel for Olympic Shipping & Management S.A, an affiliate of the Onassis Foundation, and since 1995 he has been the coordinator of the Executive Committee of the commercial activities controlled by the Onassis Foundation. In addition, Mr. Papadimitriou has been a member of the board of directors of the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation since 1988, serving as the president of the board since 2005.
Mr. Papadimitriou is a graduate of the Athens University Law School and holds a postgraduate degree in maritime and transport law from the University Aix-en-Provence, a B.Sc. from the London School of Economics and a Ph.D. from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Mr. Papadimitriou was appointed to the Board of GasLog Partners in May 2015 and stepped down on January 31, 2019.

James C. Berner, Managing Director, is a member of the Global Energy & Power Infrastructure Fund (GEPIF) team at BlackRock, which currently manages over $9 billion on behalf of clients for investment in the power generation, midstream, transportation, utility and other areas in the energy sector across three long-term funds. The team has created over 35 portfolio companies for the GEPIF Funds and actively invests globally. BlackRock acquired the Funds in 2017, which were created and built at First Reserve, a private equity firm that has been investing in exclusively in the energy sector since 1983. Within the GEPIF team, Mr. Berner is responsible for investment origination, execution and management, focusing on the power generation, shipping and liquefied natural gas sectors. He is a member of the Fund investment, management and ESG committees.
Mr. Berner has over 20 years of experience in energy investing and lending. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2017, Mr. Berner was a Managing Director on the Energy Infrastructure team at First Reserve where he executed over $700 million of equity investments. Prior to joining First Reserve in 2011, Mr. Berner was a Managing Director at General Electric Capital Corporation in the Energy Financial Services division focused on energy investing and lending, and worked in the USA, UK and Singapore. Prior to General Electric Capital Corporation, he was a Vice President, Project and Structured Finance, at Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. focused on US and Latin American project finance and advisory.
Mr. Berner earned a B.A., cum laude, from Cornell University in 1990, an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies in 1996 and an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business in 1998.

Eduard Ruijs is a Managing Director in the Global Energy & Power Infrastructure funds team, which currently manage $9 billion for investment in the power, midstream, utility and other areas in the energy sector across 3 infrastructure funds. Mr. Eduard Ruijs is leading the London team and is responsible for investment origination, execution and exit strategy, focusing on the energy infrastructure sector in EMEA and Asia-Pacific. Eduard is on the Board of ADNOC Oil Pipelines, Kellas Midstream, GasLog, Medgaz and Renovalia / Demex.
Eduard led the London infrastructure investment team at First Reserve, which was acquired by BlackRock in June 2017. Prior to building the infrastructure franchise at First Reserve since 2011, Eduard was an Investment Director & Partner with NIBC Infrastructure Partners, a Europe focused infrastructure fund manager, where he executed several investments in the renewable energy and midstream sectors, and served on the Boards of those companies. Prior to NIBC, he was a senior Principal with Boston Consulting Group’s Energy Practice in London, and a Manager with A.T. Kearney Ltd, where he advised mostly energy clients.
Eduard Ruijs earned a M. Juris in Law and Economics of Oxford University where he was a Chevening Scholar, an MSc (Drs) in Economics and MA (Mr.) in Law from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, a Bachelor in Business Administration of Nijenrode University in the Netherlands, and obtained an Executive MBA from Michigan Business School as well as graduated from Japan Prizewinners Programme at Leiden University in Tokyo.

Paolo Enoizi was appointed Chief Executive Officer of GasLog Limited in March 2022 and Chief Executive Officer of GasLog Partners LP in August 2021. Prior to that, Paolo was Chief Operating Officer since September 2019.
Before joining GasLog, Paolo was Managing Director of Stolt Tankers BV Rotterdam, a subsidiary of Stolt Nielsen Limited, where he was responsible for the operation of over 100 chemical tankers, 200 people ashore and over 4,000 seafarers. His previous roles also included Director of Technical & Innovation and General Manager of Newbuilding & Technical. Prior to joining Stolt Nielsen in 2008, Paolo was Managing Director of a family-owned ship management company.
Paolo brings over 20 years of experience in growth and transformational strategy from ship management to cost optimization, in innovative asset solutions and digital tools, with a constant focus on safety, care for people and the development of more sustainable and safer environment.
He has a Masters degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Genova.

Achilleas Tasioulas has served as our CFO since July 2020.
He joined GasLog in October 2014 as Financial Controller and his role was expanded to Chief Risk Officer, Financial Controller and Head of Tax in August 2017 and Deputy CFO of GasLog in December 2019 and has over 13 years of experience in the shipping industry. During his years with GasLog he has been actively engaged in our growth strategy, capital markets activity and has developed considerable experience in operations, corporate finance, treasury and risk management. Achilleas is also a Board Member of Gastrade and a Director of several Group subsidiaries.
Immediately prior to joining GasLog, Achilleas was Corporate Controller for NYSE-listed Danaos Corporation for 6 years. He is an ICAEW Fellow Chartered Accountant, has an MSc in Project Analysis, Finance and Investments from the University of York and a BSc in Economics from the University of Macedonia in Greece. Furthermore, he has completed executive education programs in Advance Corporate Finance in London Business School and Strategic Financial Leadership in Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Kostas Karathanos was appointed as our Chief Operating Officer in February 2022, following his last appointment as our Deputy Chief Operating Officer from November 2021. He has also served as the General Manager Innovation and Technology from 2019. He first joined the group in 2000 when it was operating as Ceres Hellenic Shipping Enterprises, Ltd. and from then until 2017, has held several positions during his years within the group of companies such as Fleet Manager, Project & Site Manager and Ship Manager. Prior to re-joining GasLog, he was holding the position of the Technical Manager at Minerva Marine from 2017 to 2019.
Kostas has over 20 years of experience in the shipping industry specializing on LNG Carriers design and construction, Technical & Operational management as well as focusing on Energy & Performance with emphasis on the Energy efficiency and Decarbonization of the fleet.
Mr. Karathanos has an Executive MBA from ALBA, The American College of Greece, an MSc in Thermal Power and Fluid Mechanics from the University of Manchester and a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Manchester Metropolitan University.

Alexandros Laios joined GasLog in September 2020 and was appointed General Counsel in October 2020. Prior to joining GasLog, he acted for 13 years as Corporate Legal Counsel to NYSE-listed Navios Maritime Holdings Inc. and was engaged in private practice for the preceding 4 years.
He holds a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School, an LL.M. in Civil Law from the University of Athens Law School, an LL.M. in Maritime Law from the University of London.

Matt Higgs joined GasLog at the beginning of 2019 and is responsible for all commercial activities on LNG carriers and floating solutions projects, developing new markets and customers, ensuring employment for our existing fleet and identifying opportunities for growth by contracting newbuild LNG carriers on long term contracts.
Prior to joining GasLog, Matt spent the best part of 20 years in Total’s energy trading division, working in various different roles across natural gas, electricity, LPG, coal and LNG.

Joanne Massios is a Human Resources professional with over 30 years in the field. She has been Head of HR of GasLog since April 2012 and previously has worked in leading HR roles for Euronav, Ceres Hellenic, Coca-Cola HBC, and HypoVereinsbank. She started her career in McKinsey & Company’s New York Office. Joanne is committed to building greater diversity, equity and inclusion in the maritime industry and is currently overseeing GasLog’s ESG function in addition to her HR role.
She holds a Master of Liberal Arts and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Thomas Edison State University.
